    Hi Trixi,

If this Mission is created in a standalone space specifically for the Mission, without any promotional elements, it can be created and submitted for approval. Please also be mindful of other approved Missions with a similar concept, and ensure this one includes unique elements that clearly differentiate it from existing content.

Thank you for your replies Mya, it's much appreciated. It's a great shame regarding missions in commercial spaces, but I can understand where you're coming from and what you're hoping to achieve.

Regarding your above message, could I just clarify please - you mentioned 'without any promotional elements', but unfortunately this is still quite vague and I just want to be 100% sure before I re-create my bakery mission (and spend hard-earned cash doing so) in another space that I'm not breaking any guidelines I'm not aware of, and my mission will ergo not be appropriate for approval before I even begin.

For clarity, this is what was initially going to be included:
        • 1. The space would be called 'The Bon Bon Bakery (Mission)'. And the mission (currently being re-written as we speak) is simply called 'A Day At The Bakery'.
        • 2. I would like to clarify that sculpture tags are still OK to include. In The Kingdom of Fangorn (which features my most recently approved mission), there are multiple food items in the space, the description of which ends with my standard sculpture tag '~The Bon Bon Bakery'. Given my bakery mission space would include food items that feature the same description (albeit none that are for sale, of course) I just wanted to make sure this is still OK to include, as it was then.
        • 3. Initially, I also planned to include a little door somewhere in the space, out of the way of the main mission area, to link to my actual bakery, but whether this would be permitted, I'm not sure, hence my query to you. I only bring it up since I was told a couple of months ago that it was alright to do so, so long as there are no items for sale in the mission space, and that the latter remains solely mission-focussed, and the door is not made a feature of. I'm unsure whether this is still the case?

Are these acceptable things to include, or will I have to change anything? Many thanks.

Sorry Mya, I totally missed your previous reply when I made my last comment there. Thanks for thanking the time to explain all of that for us. I still have my disagreements, but I get where the team is coming from and really appreciate your transparency.

I think point 2 is something that is definitely allowed, many mission makers use sculptures and leave the name it had when it was bought which is usually the name of the creator/store. And this is actually very useful to mission makers to find new sculptures.

Thank you for your reply, Grace. I hope this is still the case! I only asked because I've noticed quite a few missions removing the tags whereas others don't, so wanted to be 100% sure

                Hi there Mya,
I wouldn't normally trouble you again but, when you have the time, would you mind replying to my response to your message above please? I would really appreciate some clarification.

                  Hi Trixi,

Stepping in with Mya here to provide some clarification on your questions:
                  1. The space name you mentioned is allowed. That said, we’d recommend reviewing other missions that follow a “bakery” or “A Day At The ___” theme. While these themes aren’t restricted, they can become repetitive. As long as your mission doesn’t closely resemble an already approved one in terms of story or overall concept, you should be fine.
                  2. If the sculptures are simply crediting an artist or acknowledging who created them, that’s perfectly fine to include in item descriptions. We would just ask that you avoid anything that leans into promotion, such as “Shop at The Bon Bon Bakery!” There’s an important distinction between giving credit and advertising a space, so please keep that in mind when writing them.
                  3. If the door is being used to guide players through different parts of a mission (for example, moving from one part to another in different spaces), that is allowed. However, if it’s being used to link to or promote a commercial space, we would recommend not doing so.

As a general note, we do our best to answer questions like these to provide clarity, but we may not always be available to do so. This is a big reason as to why we’re updating our guidelines, so you’ll have a consistent resource to refer to when questions come up.

We hope this helps, and we encourage you to keep an eye out for upcoming guideline updates.

You've nailed it on the head right here...you're taking away their ability to make full price off of a player. Yes, you already paid the price for the item, but when people go to shop they often buy more than one thing.

I'm finding this version to be full of a lot more greed than the original and it's sad. I just spent $20k tokens and $3k gold to make a mission in the starter size space. If we aren't able to recoup some of the tokens through mission fees it's going to make less people want to build.

Most of the approved missions are from the original version and I'd love to have some fresh things to do.
