    SmallVerse Pricing Structure

SmallVerse pricing structure has become increasingly difficult to justify.
The biggest issue isn’t the existence of VIP memberships—it’s the value being offered. Currently, 25,000 Gold costs $31.99 on its own, while the VIP bundle costs $52.99 and still only includes 25,000 Gold. That means players are effectively paying an additional $21 just for VIP benefits and CL36 progression.

What makes this even more frustrating is the removal of the 100,000 Gold pack for $100, which was one of the few purchases that provided a clear and reasonable value proposition. Instead of offering better value to long-term players, the current pricing model appears to push users toward spending more while receiving less. For many OG players, this feels less like rewarding community loyalty and more like maximizing revenue at the expense of player satisfaction. The concern isn’t simply about cost—it’s about transparency, value, and whether recent changes were implemented to improve the game experience or primarily increase profits.

At a time when community trust matters most, SmallVerse devs should clearly explain the reasoning behind these pricing inflations and reconsider whether the current model truly benefits the players who helped build the game.

    Hi Valen,

Thanks for sharing your feedback. I'd like to provide some clarification regarding the pricing mentioned.

The VIP Bundle is not intended to be a discounted Gold package. Rather, it combines several products into a single purchase, including 12 months of VIP membership, 25,000 Gold, 36 Citizen Levels, and an exclusive promotional item. The value of the bundle comes from the combination of those benefits, not from Gold alone.

Regarding Gold pricing, our standard Gold rates remain lower than those offered in the original game. The 100,000 Gold package that was recently available was a limited-time promotional offer that provided a larger discount than our normal pricing structure. Special sales and heavily discounted bundles were also offered periodically in the original game and were never intended to represent standard pricing.

SmallVerse regularly offers promotions, package deals, and seasonal sales throughout the year, and we continually review pricing based on player feedback and the long-term sustainability of the game. As with any online game, purchases help support ongoing development, server infrastructure, content creation, customer support, and future improvements.

We understand that players may have different opinions on pricing and value, and we appreciate the feedback. While not every player will agree with every pricing decision, there has been no increase to our standard Gold pricing, and our base Gold and VIP pricing remain below what was offered in the original game.

      Hi Mya,

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

However, I feel like you’ve addressed what the VIP Bundle contains rather than the concern I actually raised. My post never argued that the VIP Bundle was intended to be a discounted gold package. I understand that it contains VIP membership, Citizen Levels, Gold, and an exclusive item. My concern is the value being assigned to those items. Simply stating that the bundle contains multiple products does not explain why players should view those products as justifying the price difference. That’s the question I raised, and it’s the question I don’t believe was answered. Likewise, explaining that the 100,000 Gold package was promotional does not address why many players viewed it as one of the few purchases that offered reasonable value compared to current options. You mention that the value comes from the combination of benefits, but nowhere in your response do you explain how that value is being determined.

How much value is being assigned to CL36?
How much value is being assigned to the balloons?
      How is that value calculated?

Because from a player’s perspective, it appears that SmallVerse is assigning values internally and then asking the community to accept those valuations without explanation. My original concern was never about what is included in the bundle. It was about transparency, value, and whether the current pricing structure is genuinely benefiting players or primarily increasing monetization.

Respectfully, I don’t feel that concern was addressed in your response.
