Why are most of the nice-looking Pride Month items VIP-only?

Pride is about inclusion and celebrating everyone, but most of the best Pride items can only be worn by VIP players. While non-VIP players have a couple of options, it feels unfair that most of the more unique and colorful items are locked behind VIP.

My suggestion is to make more of the Pride items available for non-VIP players to wear so everyone can participate in the celebration. Pride is for everyone, and it would be great if all players had more ways to express themselves during the event.

I second this! I don't mind having VIP-exclusive items for most other events, but it feels weird to do so for a time that's supposed to be about inclusivity and expression.

I would also like a pride flag! I was deep in the closet when I played the og game- it's silly, but I'd love to have it so I can hold it with pride!

Hello all,

I've reviewed the current selection of Pride items available to the community. The reason some Pride-themed items are included with VIP membership is because their standard, year-round counterparts are also part of the VIP item selection.

Other Pride items are available for any player to wear and use if they choose to do so. While we understand the concern that was raised, we do not currently have plans to adjust these items and their VIP membership requirements.

We will continue to monitor community feedback regarding Pride item releases and will update this thread if any changes are made during this release window (throughout the end of June).

Lastly, the Rainbow Flag has now been added to the catalog and is available for purchase throughout the same timeframe as the other Pride items.
