    Feature request: Deleting own threads

I wish I had the ability to delete threads I've created myself once they no longer need to take up space. I'm actually hesitant to ask about the procedure for this, as it's likely either impossible or would require weeks of back-and-forth emails. For example, I know I'm also going to want to delete this thread when someone starts saying my request is completely wild :P

    agree..
sometimes things that are posted become irrelevant or go so far off/derailed that it just needs to vanish LOL
it would also help when looking to see if there has already been a post about a subject matter .. to not have so many to go thru

The answer lies within the Forum Guidelines. Here, they only allow requesting a thread to be closed/removed if they are in the Marketplace/Competitions. Threads don’t actually belong to us, even if we create them. They belong to the community since everyone can comment on them and are considered public. It’s a public forum.

Aside from that, I agree that we should be at least able to request a thread to be closed or removed if it is no longer relevant, like for example, creating a thread about a space/mission that no longer exist and furthermore, no longer open or available to players. The biggest thing that annoys me, is not being able to delete a post. On SW, we had the ability to delete a post, but we had to have a valid reason to request a thread to be removed. (Sunny did make small exceptions) They didn’t close them unless it was a sales thread or competitions upon a player’s request.
