    Implementation of gift cards.

The platform should seriously consider implementing gift card payment options to improve accessibility for users in regions where standard payment methods are limited or unsupported. In many countries, users cannot easily use their local currency for international transactions due to banking restrictions or lack of compatible payment systems.

Gift cards such as those from Google Play and Apple provide a practical workaround by allowing users to preload funds in a widely accepted format. This eliminates the need for currency conversion and reduces dependency on credit cards or foreign payment gateways.

Introducing gift card support would not only make the platform more inclusive but could also expand its user base and revenue potential by enabling participation from underserved markets.

    I second this.

If you don't live in one of the supported regions like USA, Brazil, Canada or UK, it is impossible to buy from the store through paypal.
I live in the Euro-Zone, and there is no option for €-payment. Considering there are 21 countries using €uro as currency, it might be a good idea to implement a possibility for those players to buy from the store, either by a european paypal option or as stated above, the usage of gift cards.

There are people out here who would really like to give you their money, but they can't...

It doesn’t need massive scale to be worthwhile. Gift card systems already exist (Google/Apple), so it’s not like building a payment method from scratch. Even a modest increase in paying users from underserved regions could justify it.

I live in Trinidad and Tobago which is an independent nation in the Caribbean region and I have been able to successfully purchase packages from the store via PayPal. My local credit card is linked to the PayPal account and I can choose whether to be charged in USD or TTD. Don't be deterred by the Zip Code field. I simply enter the zip code of the Miami, Florida, USA-based freight forwarding company that I use when shopping for physical products online.

Your method works, but it relies on financial tools not everyone has access to. Many users don’t have credit cards or can’t use PayPal reliably. Gift cards are widely available and don’t require banking access, which makes them a better solution for inclusivity.

Yes! Ive said this before , it could also bring in new players when they see the card they may look it up to see what it is and try it out

That's true. I never claimed that it was the only viable option or that gift cards are a bad idea. I was simply giving my personal experience to assist Maya Saran with PayPal

Me and my husband actually did it that way, using a US Zip Code to buy VIP packages when the store first opened last year.
But it only worked for a while, now it gives an error and is not working anymore, so hubby can't renew his VIP.
Like I said, we would like to spend money, but can't.
