    Rewards/Recognition for Inviting Friends

    Hello SmallVerse Staff Team,

    I am writing this suggestion to you regarding my Invite Friends count on SmallVerse.

    My Avatar "Stefan Richie" has now invited over 360 confirmed Citizens to the game. Now while that may seem odd, I can show as to why I have this many.

    I have multiple Social Media pages where my invite link is referenced.

    I will show a few examples:

    Instagram:
    @stefanrichiesv

    @smallworldslegacy
    @gwzinalone

    Facebook:
    @smallworldslegacy

    YouTube:
    @smallworldslegacy

    TikTok:
    @smallworldslegacy

    Discord:
    Smallworlds Legacy - https://discord.gg/USQ2VBg7XG

    In addition to these pages I also have a website for SmallWorlds Legacy which is basically just a redirect page to SmallVerse using my invite link.

    www.smallworldslegacy.com

    Personally I think the best way to help SV grow is for the players to help spread word of the game to new people anyway they can and I think that the invite system is great, but also flawed. While SmallWorlds was so big it was a great way to reward players, but on SmallVerse the game being so small and inviting players being so crucial to its survival I think there should be some more recognition for the players who have high invite counts. These people are the ones who are going out of their way to see something they love grow and succeed.

    This is in no way a complaint or a beg for free items etc., I just wanted to give some food for thought and at least some recognition for the Citizens who are making an effort to grow the game.

    Kindest Regards

    Ben James \ Stefan Richie

        Massively agree with this; referral schemes are immensely successful at expanding a business' customer base. The original game had a referral scheme and I agree that, for a game of its size, SmallWorlds' original scheme was suited, but for SmallVerse it feels very lacklustre. It just seems like common sense business to have a decent referral scheme, I think.

          Agreed. This is my two cents: Please consider creating new incentives for players to invite others to join, in addition, to investing in advertising/marketing campaigns via social media. The player base count is seeing a downward trend since the end of January. This is not only a concern of getting new players, but getting these new players to play consistently. We all hope to see more regular players as we want to see the game prosper. Looking forward to seeing the thoughts of others regarding future changes in strategies to bring new players onto the platform. Thank you.

                  Building the community is so important for the longevity of SV - and appropriately rewarding players, like Stefan, is such an important part of the process. Completely agree with the point raised!

                    Huge +1 to this. Genuinely, mad respect for the hustle, Stefan. Tbh though, it almost feels unfair to drag new players into this graveyard right now lol. I tried bringing friends in too, but half of them couldn't even log in because of the potato servers, and the other half just called it a crappy, outdated game and left.
                    The fact that you built a whole Discord, bought domains, and spent your own time and money marketing this is insane. You are literally doing the devs' marketing job for free. You deserve way more than just a pat on the back or some temporary in-game pixels that will vanish the next time the server permanently crashes.
                    This is exactly why community builders like you should be rewarded with something that holds actual, long-term value. Imagine if your 360+ invites were rewarded in $VERSE or real on-chain assets. That way, your contribution actually means something for decades, and you get a real piece of the pie you helped bake.
                    Great work man, you definitely have my support. 🤝

                      It's an excellent idea, not sure why anyone would be here if they think this is a "graveyard" but there are plenty of other games out there if this is not to your liking. Everyone I invited came and is still here. The grift is real lol

                        I appreciate your comment Johny, it means alot. I do try to put in alot of work into my promotion of SmallVerse. It would be awesome to get the chance to just speak to the powers that be, but at this point its looking very unlikely. Would be nice to see the people who make things happen on SmallVerse speak to the players who are a bit part of the game wether its promotion, playtime or even just being very well known in the community.

                        p.s. Website seems to be doing brilliantly to bring players to the game!
