The original Smallworlds community was majority younger players like myself when playing the original game. We RELY on younger players to continue the games lifespan.
I created my first avatar when I was really young back in 2011, and unfortunately I got a lot of progress before realizing I made a typo. Some people could also be dyslexic and not realize until later as well.
Suggestion: Make first name change free per account || Allow Avatar name transfer (one time only)
How it benefits the game: Everyone likes a new username every now and then. Eventually some people are going to get bored with the old avatar name and want a new one, or simply wish to transfer names from 2 avatars. Making the first name change free will greatly increase longevity of player count. Giving only 1 free name change per account prevents manipulation of name changing, and gives players on the game more of a sense of freedom instead of putting an essential feature behind a paywall. Allowing players to transfer names of 2 avatars (one time only) gives players the opportunity to feel refreshed with a different name and significantly increases the chance the player continues playing.
