I would appreciate it if I could buy VIP with gold as I'm not keen on spending real life money on this game. Times are tough, bills need to be paid. Most of us are adults now and no longer children who get pocket money from mummy and daddy.

I agree I do wish SV would come with bringing back VIP for gold. It was a great feature to have!

Thank you for sharing your interest in being able to purchase VIP using Gold instead of real world currency. This is something we’re open to exploring in the future, either as a permanent option or as a limited time offering. If implemented, it would likely apply to the monthly VIP membership only and would not include any Citizen Levels (CL) or Citizen Points (CP).

We appreciate the feedback and will continue to review suggestions like this as we plan future updates.

Yeah that's kinda silly to not include CL with VIP purchased with gold... That's half of the reason why people purchase VIP in the first place

I personally miss having VIP and high CL but I think it's important to remember that SV is a business, just like SW was. There were lots of people on SW that had high CL without ever spending a penny on the game. In fact, my VIP wouldn't have ended for a while yet.
It is appealing and it will encourage people to spend money. We don't want SV to close - spending money is a great way to support the game!
purchasing vip with gold would definitely reduce the amount of real money used.

i think you should bring back buying cl with gold because theres a few countrys like egypt that can't buy cl only way they can is by earning gold in game to buy it

I understand both perspectives, honestly. I do want the game to succeed financially so it doesn't suffer the same fate SW did in 2018, so I get SV wanting to incentivize paying for VIP with real currency. Perhaps the compromise could be that paying with gold only gives you half the CP?
