New Sculpting Tool Idea: Planer

I think all sculptors can agree, taking off thin layers of a block SUCKS. As I was doing it, I was wishing we had a tool like a wood planer!

For this tool idea, we could apply it to the top/bottom/sides of a block and take off ENTIRE layers, perhaps even with options similar to chisels. For selecting a side, it may change to a overlay of green to show what blocks will be planed off to prevent guessing. It would save so much time and effort when making a thin sculpture for some decor items (dividers, wall art, etc.) or even open doors for some flooring choices!

I can picture it now: a cute hand-planer icon... with maybe even a dropdown for size if you don't want to make multiple icons to indicate...

I like this suggestion.

I would also like more variants of the mirror tool because they only work on the sides, not on the bottom and top. I want to make a round object but I can't physically see the underneath part properly because of the shadows and the limited view, therefore having a mirror tool that I can use on the top that gets mimicked on the bottom would fix this.

To further add onto the limited view, maybe an option to actually move, rotate and orbit the object in a 3D like way rather than only have 4 fixed rotation views.

A planer tool and additional or improved mirrors would be nice. I agree! It takes me forevvvvvver to make a thin flat sculpture and some time shaved off (pardon the pun) would be nice.
