    Deleting missions/mission spaces?

So I have been thinking a lot about the missions that live in the graveyard. What I mean: mission graveyard are missions that people created, but no one ever plays. technically, a mission needs 0 plays to be in the true "mission graveyard," but for this convo I mean any mission that was created and has less that 5 plays. Or a mission that no one has played in the last 3 mo. When I have a mission that I can't get folx to test or no one plays, I consider it. Want to know everyone else's thoughts?

In this case, do you delete your missions or delete the mission space? Have you ever sold a space that had a mission and decline to put the mission elsewhere?

I don't see a point in un-doing all that hard work unless you have a better idea that you think has more potential and resources are limited so repurposing spaces and furniture makes sense

It wouldn't matter to me if a mission I created had 0 plays or 1000; I would not delete the mission. All missions I write are primarily for my own enjoyment, and some are actually cathartic.

Have you submitted it for approval? because I find none with your creator name...
I know I played what happened to the Sufjoys ... and really enjoyed it...
It's hard for many of the newer missions to get plays, especially missions longer then 5 mins..

There have been suggestions made to try and improve that ... but its just ... frustrating ..

When I release a mission, whether loved or hated, it takes on a life of it's own. I might delete one that just wouldn't take on a life of it's own but that is rare and could happen very early in creation process. Once it is complete, I don't feel I have the right to delete it. I guess I rather think of it like burning books. Even if I don't like what it says, someone else may value it.

In all fairness, I haven't deleted any on SV except maybe one that I wrote during a "wacky phase" where I just write whatever comes out. But in Beforetimes (SW), I definitely did as I had like 20 missions. My issue comes from the fact that I don't want to spend all my funds to keep making missions if they aren't getting plays. I know this is a "attitude" problem, but still. And if it doesn't gain traction, I wonder should I just scrap and start over. I haven't put in enough effort to truly know, so I thought I would ask folx.

Most of my missions are behind locked doors :"am I the drama?":

I have not submitted any of my missions for approval. I have created 8 or so, under two names, but real talk, I haven't felt motivated to submit them for approval. I think I will do so and see if that makes a difference in how I feel.

plays in SV are way different then SW ...
Not being as big a population is a big reason..
Here most people (from what I have read and been told) want very short missions..
at times the approval process can be brutal.. most make sense, but some make you scratch your head ...

I totally understand the "investment" aspect ... lots of time and money for .. no to little plays ...
while most of my missions do ok ...
I am taking a hiatus... maybe I made too many, too fast... LOL

Well, I'll just warn you right now to be prepared for the worst during the approval process... and decide ahead of time how you're going to react XD... It's been really tough for me. Personally, to get motivated to make another mission, I’ll probably wait one or two years until they give us permission to remove the rotation of our own spaces ourselves. (Right now, it's literally easier to get an audience with the president of the country than get that!) If that doesn't happen, I’ll just stick to playing the fun missions we find in this game. If it weren't for how much I enjoy the stories players have to tell, I probably wouldn't be around here anymore
