"Wall Item" Styled Sculpts Can't Go On a Wall?

Hi all!
I am finding that sculpt artists are creating sculpt items designated to be wall items (mirrors, cabinets, wall art) but oftentimes I can't get the sculpt on a wall. Any suggestions, or is that just to be expected?

They are supposed to go on the floor, next to the wall, but up against the wall, as if they are floating on the perimeter. Their 'back' will be displayed when you rotate your space; they won't disappear like a real wall item. Because they are essentially a floor item, you may not be able to put another item in that spot, even though the majority of the space area appears clear and unused.

You can put an ice cube down and place the item on top and sell the ice cube. This will cause the item on top to stay and give the illusion that the item is higher.
