What are your thoughts on SmallVerse releasing the Snowfox wearable in the store for $150?
My take on it:
This feels like a cash grab. This is the type of stuff Mini Mania is pulling with their players (hence why a lot of us have left that game!) Releasing a lot of rare items that they KNOW people want on the deluxe wheel/in packages in order to make money off the nostalgia.
What happened to listening to the players?
In the suggestions chat on Discord, a lot of people have voiced concerns over how the prices keep climbing for the packages that are released. There have also been complaints about how you don't really get much bang for your buck as in you just get items, not including gold or VIP in the package.
With that being said, I do understand that isn't wise to oversaturate the market with an item. But, some of us want to collect these items just to tickle that FOMO we had as a kid, not to try and make gold off of them!
Here is a possible solution: have the monthly collectibles that are "rare" priced at 2,000 gold and keep the 500 & 500 released throughout the month. Then for these "legendary" items, have them priced at 10,000 to 20,000 gold and have only 25 released in the first part of the month, and another 25 at the end of the month.
That would solidify the exclusive status of these items, because we all know there are some folks out there that will purchase a bunch of the same package just to resell.
