What year did you join SmallWorlds?

I made an account in Nov 2009, but I think I really started playing sometime in 2010. I decided to stop playing once I finished high school because knew that I couldn't handle playing SW while focusing on uni. The only way I knew I wouldn't be tempted to get back into playing was to delete my avatar TT So that's what I did, but boy did it hurt to delete 5 years worth of work.

I discovered the game in 2008 during its Beta phase but didn't really "lock in" (that's what the kids are saying these days, right?) until mid-2009, which was the account I played with up until the game's closure.

I found the game in October 2009, through an ad on Hi5. I played until it ended, went through many phases, and after it closed, I couldn't find another game even remotely similar or entertaining. I'm glad that even though this isn't SW, it looks a lot like it; let's hope it doesn't end in the near future :S... and yes! I recognize many famous names here!

I cannot remember when i joined but somewhere during 2008 when there used to be grey guest players and on the homepage there used to be an agony aunt who answered some questions, and you could link your bebo, myspace and facebook, althought i was 11/12 pretending to be an adult (oops)

I think I started playing around 2012/2013. I don't even remember how I found it (maybe through Facebook?), but I was in middle school, and my friends and I would play it almost every day after school. I played right up to the end, so I was ecstatic to see it resurrected here.
