I believe players just bought them from other players during the time of release and also just constantly buying & reselling from other players.

Sometimes people hoard items too, so that's another thing!

    Hope this helps to explain!

I agree Nova. It is hard putting out money for everything we had. so this time is limited . but love this world away from the real world..

I have to agree - More people would have more if the SV Team lowered the price for gold. It is currently extortionately high for a game who's player size is so small and for a game so new that was shut down before...

Also I see all shops have different rate for same items. Feels like people are just randomly setting price as high as they can. With low player count I feel people manipulate market too much. I feel scammed here when I see monthly wearable priced at 5k in official shop and I see ppl selling previous month wearable for 10 k. Prices do not change in a day. SV should do something to stabilize market. It is currently PAY TO WIN game and not gonna last if it continues that way.

The economy on Smallverse will absolutely be the downfall of this game I used to love. I'm hoping that when smallverse starts advertisements and more foot traffic on the site, that these things will get better. Back in OG sw days, it was appalling to see something price set at 30k gold. NOW i'm seeing most wears and rares being set over 1.2MILLION gold. The issue is that people are actually still buying these items. Smdh. Pay to play is only going to last so long. Once they bring back offers and you could buy VIP with gold, I think that is when there will be a huge dynamic shift on the site. Until then, pay for what you actually want. Mission hard and get those levels up

Thank you all for the feedback! I do think prices and the overall economy will naturally stabilize as we move forward, especially once Beta ends. Our player base continues to grow every day, and I expect that growth to accelerate once we officially launch Version 1.0.

SmallVerse entered its official Beta on December 1st, 2024, so we’re approaching the one year mark. During the first several months, only a small number of rares were introduced into the economy. It wasn’t until our shop opened at the end of April that a larger wave of rares entered through the store, catalog and Spin to Win Deluxe. Because of that, many of these items are extremely limited, which can make their prices higher than expected right now. As our player base grows, more players will be able to earn and obtain these new items. Over time, this increases the total number of those items in circulation, which means there will be more available overall. With a larger supply in the world, prices should naturally come down.

I know this isn’t a direct solution, but I hope it provides some helpful insight.
