Plant pots with plants in missions?

Hello all, I just was curious if anyone could tell me, if you put plants you have grown in a mission and it is accepted, will you be able to keep the plants alive? I mean I know they said that you cannot edit anything so I was wondering if I should not even put them there. Thanks in advance for any answers or suggestions.

I'm not sure if the "you can't edit anything" rule more means if you open up the mission in the Mission Panel, edit text in the mission and save it, that it automatically de-approves. It was like this on OG SW if I remember correctly, so that could be the rule they're trying to enforce. When it comes to space decor, they've no way of knowing you've 'changed' anything about it, presumably that means plants too.

I've got plants I've grown in my Come Dine With Me mission spaces - no issues with keeping them alive and it doesn't affect the approval status of the mission. I have one that is dead but that is intentional as part of the mission story. You can even water the plants with space instanced too
