    The Tell Tale Heart

I just finished creating my very first mission in SmallVerse! It's a rough recreation of a mission I had created in the original game that retells the story of Edgar Allan Poe's classic 1843 short story. Here, you'll take the role of the unreliable narrator as he recounts the night he murdered the beloved old man and attempts to convince you of his sanity. The mission makes use of the original text, but introduces a few modern SmallVerse twists. Other than the fact that you might need a dictionary to decipher a few words, the mission is fairly easy and straightforward. There's also a "secret" bookcase that you can use if you need some hints. I just submitted the mission for approval, so hopefully that goes through quickly. In the meantime, I'd love to hear any feedback - especially if I need to make some last minute tweaks.

MISSION NAME: The Tell Tale Heart
    SPACE: Raven Manor (https://www.smallverse.app/space/d20...b03ca0f59ceb7a)
    XP PATH: Social

    DESCRIPTION:
TRUE! NERVOUS — very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad? The disease had sharpened my senses — not destroyed — not dulled them. Above all was the sense of hearing acute. I heard all things in the heaven and in the earth. I heard many things in hell. How, then, am I mad? Hearken! and observe how healthily — how calmly I can tell you the whole story. // We are pleased to welcome you to Raven Manor for a retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s 1843 short story, The Tell Tale Heart. The manor is home to many curious tales — but none as chilling as that of the villainous murder of an innocent old man.

EDIT: This mission is officially my first ever SV approved mission! Yay!!

Great mission, Penguin! The space decor was great, the writing was witty, I really enjoyed it! Thank you!

EDIT: holy heck, I didn't realise my in-world typing was so incoherent... what I meant to say was: Now where do I get myself one of these talking grandfather clocks?

Haha thank you! And to answer your question... the grandfather clock came from Artverse, but I had to teach it to talk myself ;-D.

I forgot to take a screenshot because we were in there chatting but really awesome job!! I admittedly had to cheat a couple times lol. But only a couple because I like to figure it out myself!!
I loved the story. It was dark and immersive, the music flowed well with the mission. Great job with the hints of humor. 5 stars.

I think that's your first mission from what I've seen in the forum and you did a really wonderful job. The detail was spot on. Changing the hints as the tasks changed....bravo. I can tell a lot of work went into it.
