SmallVerse World Cup: Speed Art Challenge

As the World Cup Final approaches, we're calling all SmallVerse football fans who have a flair for creativity to take part in a fun, engaging football-themed speed art challenge!


Contest details
During the SmallVerse World Cup: Speed Art Challenge, players will be tasked with painting or sculpting a different football-themed subject/item, which will be revealed at the start of each challenge. There are limited spaces for each challenge and registration is required.

Each speed art challenge will take place live in the Speed Art Challenge space. Entrants will only have 30 minutes to complete this challenge and, once the time is up, the entries for each challenge will be judged in real time. Will you manage to create a swift masterpiece, or will time be your enemy?

The Events Team has made the difficult decision to cancel this event.

This was a new type of event that we were excited to try, but unfortunately there hasn't been enough interest to continue as planned. Thank you to everyone who registered and we apologise for any disappointment this may cause.

The challenge was designed to be a light-hearted creative event rather than a detailed art competition. From the feedback we have received, we recognise that the time limit may have discouraged participation, and we will be sure to take that into account for future art challenges/contests.

We do hope to revisit this event in the future with a revised format that reflects feedback from the community. If you have any suggestions or ideas, we would love to hear them in the Official Events Suggestions Thread.

Right now I see that Tomorrow at 1pm is the only date with more than one person, but I don't want to compete if other time slots have no competition and automatically win 10k. This is such a fun idea!! 30 minutes is such a short time (for me my average time spent on a painting is 12-15 hours 😅) this extremely short time frame is what is discouraging me and maybe others. Plus giving the theme just before starting, there isn’t much time to even contemplate ideas let alone time to complete a painting or sculpture. Best of luck to all those who enter!!
