Marketplace/Buy and Sell Forum Abuse:
Buy and Sell Forum Bumps
Excessive Posting/Bumping
Posts that do not contribute meaningful or constructive content to a thread—such as “good luck,” “nice price,” thank-you messages, bump requests, or simple bump posts—are considered excessive bumping.
Please note that this is not a complete list. Any post made solely to keep a thread active or push it to the top may be treated as an excessive bump.
Posting legitimate questions about a sale, making genuine offers, and responding to those offers is allowed and not considered bumping.
Excessive Threads
If you create multiple threads—whether selling different items or reposting the same item—within a 3-hour window, it will be considered excessive spamming. These threads may be merged or removed, and a warning may be issued.
This policy also applies to sale threads posted in the Creativity and Art section.
Why Bump Timing Matters
Reports are reviewed and handled, so if you see someone breaking the rules, please report it. We may not always reply in the thread, as doing so can unintentionally give the post an extra bump.
We understand that everyone is eager to sell their items—but early bumping actually works against you. Every time a thread is bumped, it moves to the top. But once someone else bumps their thread, yours moves down. If everyone waits the full 3 hours between bumps, threads will stay visible longer, giving everyone a fair chance at exposure.
That’s why we ask all sellers to respect the bumping rules. Following them helps keep the marketplace fair and your sales more visible.
