What is the requirements for you to recieve the 1 Citizen Point for inviting friends?

Hello. I invited 2 friends and they both verified their emails and have been active in Smallverse yet I am still sitting on citizen level 1. It's been about 48 hours since they joined. As per the link you provided, I should have received 1 point for each after they verified their emails. Please help.

Miss, your friends will each need to verify their email addresses and upon completion you will receive 1 Citizen Point for each of them. Please note 1 Citizen Level = 20 points hence no change to your Citizen Level unless you already have 18 Citizen Points.

THANK YOU! I definitely was understanding it incorrectly. With that in mind, when I started playing I was at 20 points by default and after the invites I am still at 20 points. With the information you provided, the count should be 22, no?

That’s correct. Each successful email verification from a valid invite will grant 1 Citizen Point.
