    door bug

    Please look into issues with doors not working properly.

    I have had issues with every door I have tried to use, so I stopped using them.

    But in this current project, I want a door in the space and it to be perm closed.

    I have changed the settings several times, to different time in the reset time.

    I have set up an event for it to close when people enter the space, but we shouldnt have to set up work arounds, some might not realize that is an option.

    Kissty, to be clear, are you stating that the doors do not remain permanently closed?

      yea, the door, even tho it is set to default .. stay closed, keeps being open

        I am having the same issue. The minute I set the default state to close after 10 seconds I can no longer enter or exit the area or open the door. I have tried using several different gates.. It is apparently not just DOOR. I have several greenhouse gates that are doing the same thing. I get locked inside the section and cannot open it or close it without moving it and refreshing. There is a real bug with these. Not sure if it is something that has been talked about before.

          I would also like to add that this area, unless you try to refresh, cannot be entered, even if you remove the gate completely.

            We have tested this issue using the same circumstances described in the forum thread and were unable to reproduce the reported behavior. Our testing indicates that the interactions and default item states are functioning as intended.

            If anyone is still experiencing this issue, please provide additional details about what is occurring, along with a link to a space where the issue can be observed. This will help us investigate further and determine whether there are any circumstances we may have missed during testing.

              I am not surprised, because whatever that glitch is, it isn't the only thing...and it isnt every time... it's very sporadic..

              I have 4 different kinds of doors in the 2 different spaces..
              all set to default: closed.. a few times I have entered the spaces.. 3 of the the doors were open.

              found the same problem with some lights, in this particular mission (again, 2 different spaces) it has been: sonix ceiling lights and poster lights.. I have 4 sonix and 3 poster..
              the lights are all set to default: off ...2 of the sonix and 1 of the poster stay on.

              for anyone that has this happen .. this is how I deal with it....
              set up prox event (I named close or off) on item they come in contact or close too when they enter space... this way you can control them/force them to be off or closed.

              something else that happens often and sporadically... is mission tasks on items that have... interact with multiple items.. the select task often vanishes ... again, this seems to come and go.

              But thanks for checking it out... it is very odd
