I have no idea why this is suddenly happening, but I purchased some restaurant chairs for my space, to be sat beside a restaurant table and, for some unknown reason, I cannot drag the chair to sit next to the table with the seat facing inwards, as you would normally place a chair. Why this is occurring, I have no idea. But it's a very weirdly specific problem. And it means I can't finish decorating the space for the mission I intend to create there. Is anyone else having this issue?

Trixi, it is difficult to diagnose the issue without a screenshot or the space link to look into this further, would you mind attaching either of those please? -
Hi there Penny, I'm afraid I can't provide you with a screenshot at the moment as I have yet to get those to work on the forums, but I can provide you with a space link: https://www.smallverse.app/space/ed8...06883bf9368e61
Basically, what's occurring is: I put down the restaurant chair next to the table as normal. But as soon as I rotate the chair to face inwards (i.e. towards the table, as seats are normally faced), the chair becomes non-rotatable. When I face the chair the right way and try to drag it to the table, I am physically prevented from moving the chair closer, whereas I can if I face the chair to the side, in a direction so the seat's pointing away from the table. It's very odd, because this has never occurred before. It's just a regular manoeuvre. If you can help at all, I'd be most grateful!Last edited by Trixi Fang; 4 weeks ago.Comment

Also, on a separate note, it's incredibly frustrating that the Elegance Victorian Rug (which I'm also using for decorating purposes in the same space) can't nestle seamlessly against another rug of the same type, whereas the green Elegance variant does. I don't know if this is a glitch or something that wasn't calibrated, but it would be great if little things like that could be sorted one dayComment

Trixi, I have visited your space and I was able to place the Restaurant Chairs facing inwards, the way in which I did this was by rotating the table several times until the chair fit. Sometimes you do need to rotate items in-order to have them sit in close proximity with one another. Please excuse the fact that the items on the Restaurant Tables may be in different positions but I do hope this assists for the future when you are decorating.
In relation to the Elegance Victorian Rug, I am not able to offer a solution or an explanation as to why it behaves differently to other rugs. Did you attempt to place them beside one another prior to placing the other items ontop of the rug?Comment

Thank you for your help, Penny! I really appreciate it. Stupidly, rotating the table did not occur to me, since it was a round object and I was working under the incorrect assumption that it would be the same, unlike some other items. It's so strange because I've popped down those restaurant tables before, and have had no issue. Thank you for resolving it.Trixi, I have visited your space and I was able to place the Restaurant Chairs facing inwards, the way in which I did this was by rotating the table several times until the chair fit. As for the rug, unfortunately it's been that way since I joined SmallVerse, and it's a problem other users have also had when decorating. It doesn't matter whether you fit it under another object or without anything on top of it - it still leaves a gap between them, unlike the Elegance Imperial Rug and the Elegance Red Patterned Rug. The rug, unlike the table, I have tried rotating and placing as close to the other as I can, but unfortunately nothing worksComment

You're very welcome. I would recommend that you post the rug issues in the Suggestions category as this was likely a design issue which was overlooked in the original game. It is not necessarily a bug and it would be better suited as a suggestion where it can be tracked and potentially rectified at a later date.Comment
