Unable to adopt a pet

I've been trying for a few days now to adopt a pet but I haven't been able to. I'm going through the Me panel to adopt one and I spawn in the pet training but a pet never spawns in with me.

Raven, please try adopting a pet by doing the following in-world: click Me -> The cat icon on the top bar -> Adopt one today. It may take a few attempts if you do not automatically spawn in Pet Training with your pet.

Thank you. That's what I've been trying, I usually tried it 5-10 times each time I've tried over the past few days. I just now tried again about 10+ times and each time still only my avatar spawns into the pet training, no pet spawns in and no pet shows in the My Pet tab (it just tells me to adopt one today).

Wondering if there's been any update to this. Two months later and I've still not been able to adopt a pet. I've tried multiple times on many different days, I go through the adoption window in game, name my pet, click next, and then I'm just brought to the training grounds with no pet anywhere. I've even uninstalled SmallVerse once or twice to see if that would help but it hasn't.

I'm sorry you're still experiencing issues with adopting a pet.

I reviewed your account and do not currently see a pet associated with it. To investigate further, I tested the process myself by opening the Me panel, going to the About Me tab, selecting Pets, and clicking "Adopt One Today!" The adoption screen opened as expected, and I was able to select a pet, give it a name, and complete the adoption process. I was then taken to the Pet Training space, and the Pet Training Mission started correctly. During my visit, I also noticed another player successfully adopting a pet.

I've recently been made aware that if a pet does not appear the first time, repeating the same adoption steps with the same pet selection may resolve the issue. Please give that a try and see if it works.

If you're still unable to adopt a pet after trying again, please let us know. I'll pass the issue along to our technical team for further investigation and see if we can manually assign a pet to your account. As another workaround, you could try adopting a pet on a different avatar. If that works, we may be able to transfer the pet to your main avatar so you can keep the pet name and customization options you want.
