Trouble Loading Specific Space

Most of the time, when I try to go to JM Secondhand Shop, I am unable to load the content of the space. The walls and floors will load, but not the items inside. This is the only space I have noticed this with. Any tips to fix? Thanks!

Anna, I have visited this space on two occasions. On the first time it loaded as expected, the second time it did not load and required me to refresh. Due to the size and number of items in the space it does take longer to load generally. I'd advise simply refreshing in this case and/or clearing your cache as it is behaving as expected. If you have any other issues with the space I would advise contacting the space owner.

When I play earlier in the day, I don't have any problems, when less people are online.
I actually tried getting in there right now, and it's not loading. I tried refreshing a few times, sometimes my avatar shows up but nothing else, but mostly nothing loads.
I know that somebody from the team checked the place some time ago and all the items in there to figure out what's causing it, but I have no information what exactly could be the issue here. I'd be very happy to know what I could do to help fix the problem.

Maya, thank you for your post. May I check if you have attempted to clear your cache? Generally, larger spaces with high numbers of items take longer to load but this should not mean the space does not load at all.

I have the same issue and have contacted Maya and sent in a bug report (form) regarding this particular space. I can also add that logging out and clearing the cache doesn’t fix the problem. I have been having this issue for over a month or two and in that same amount of time, have only been able to load the space once. I am on a gaming laptop that is fully capable of loading the space and what’s in it and have fast internet. Either there are too many items in the space that makes it difficult to load or there is a problem with loading the space itself, maybe a combination of both. This isn’t the only space I have an issue with but it’s the one I most frequent. All with issues are sculpt or rare/wear shops. This particular shop has lots of small sculptures and crafts/spells. A lot to load. Hers is an inner passages and the other few spaces that I have difficulty with are islands. Again, LOTS of stuff to load.

In addition, I have had issues with going to a space that my husband is in and have loaded myself and everything in the space but somehow, I or him are not fully loaded in the space. We are both there, but can’t see each other. (A Paradox, like in different instances but will be in the same instance of the space) The only way we are in the same space when it bugs out this way is if I teleport to him directly and not just choose to go to the same space from space panel.

I have also seen a space that is in the space panel with one owner listed, one which is in my favorites, but under favorites, it’s listed under a different name, and under one that underwent a name change. I don’t believe the people said to own this space are the same people. Spaces and loading are just acting WEIRD.


This is what I encounter at JM Second Hand;

Attempt to load space, space information loads, action bar etc, all expected to see when loading except the items in the space and my avatar.

Refreshing, same result which exception that my avatar drops down into the space.

At no time does any item in the space attempt to load with ghosting blocks as the space tries to build.

Additional attempts to refresh will alternate with the same result with the empty space and absent avatar occurring most frequently. Refreshing several times or more, I am still never able to load the space so therefore give up.

I do clear my cache frequently, I don't think that is the issue, but feel free to check whatever you need to check.

In the meantime I am thinking of moving the sculptures to a different space, I was meaning to do that anyway, because it's getting too crowded in the shop.
