    Connection Issues & Screen Freeze

    Hi, lately I've been experiencing the two below issues:

    1. Connection continually closes unexpectedly, sometimes several times within just a few minutes to an hour, and;
    2. The in-app screen will sort of 'freeze'. I say sort of because I can still click on the navigation panel at the bottom of the screen, however my avatar and the world around me simply stops moving and basically freezes. Strangely, if I am within reach to 'use' a widget like a graffiti board, I still can and doing so breaks the screen freeze and things appear normal again upon backing out of the widget.

    I have cleared my cache by going to %appdata% and deleting the Smallverse folder. I have restarted my computer. I have logged out and back in to the app. Is there anything else I can do to mitigate this issue? It has ramped up exponentially the last day or so and is making the game pretty hard to play, sadly.

    Soggy, thank you for bringing these issues to the forum. In relation to your connection this tends to be an issue on the user-side with their WiFi connection. Do you per chance use a Mac device? If so, the Find My app can have an inteference with SmallVerse connection and it is therefore recommended to remove this setting or close the app. I notice you mentioned you have cleared your cache, have you tried logging out and back in?

    As for the freezing, this is a known bug and you can break the freeze by, like you said, using a widget or click your avatar and going into the face menu before cancelling out. It is a solution which takes a few seconds.

      Thank you for the response Penny! No, I am on a Windows 11 device - so I guess it probably is my wifi, ugh.

      And thanks for the clarification regarding the screen freeze issue! - do you know if this is a bug that SV will be working to eventually correct? Luckily I am usually within reach of a widget like the graffiti boards, but a permanent fix would of course be preferred

        It is a known issue to the Technical Team although if I remember correctly it was an issue which also peristed in the original game and so it may take some time to address. That isn't to say it is not possible but given there is a two second solution it is not necessarily a high priority issue at this time.

          I am also experiencing a lot of disconnection issues. It makes it almost impossible to mission or do art. I have cleared cache, ran disk defragment, uninstalled and reinstalled, changed different settings to no avail. I am running an HP laptop. Is there by any chance anything else I can do?

            Nyixi, sorry to hear you are having issues with your connection. It sounds like you have attempted most of our troubleshooting/solutions. Does your WiFi provider have an app/dashboard, if so you may be able to explicitly allow the site "smallverse.app" which may assist in stabilizing your connection.

              I have lost connection at least 4 times in the last 10 minutes. It's non-stop all the time. I agree with Nyxi, it's almost impossible to do anything in world when you are constantly losing connection. It's not the first time this has happened - it's been like this for awhile.

                Natalia, have you tried any of the steps above to attempt to mitigate the issue?
