Sprinklers - still not working

I am not talking about crafting sprinklers, I am talking about USING them. i have enough crafting level to make them and a farming level for all plants now and the sprinkler still does nothing. It turns on and off with the button, but it does not water the plants. I asked once before if I was doing something wrong and I was directed to a post about what is needed to CRAFT them. What's the point of crafting them if they don't work for their intended use (keeping plants watered)?

As I advised you in your previous thread, the green 'Sprinkler' is not one of the automated sprinklers meaning it is not capable of watering your plants. I have attached an image of the sprinklers which are automated and quoted my previous reply to you whcih explains this further. You can also see the announcement thread for further information. I hope this makes sense, let me know if you have any further questions.

Ellie, the Green Sprinkler is not considered an automated sprinkler hence you are having no success with it. In order to craft an automated sprinkler you must be level 125 crafter for the Advanced Sprinkler, level 150 crafter for the Professional Sprinler, and level 175 crafter for the Elite Sprinkler. Sorry for the confusion here, but I’m glad you were able to get it sorted out! The basic green one is just a standard decorative item, but it’s also the base ingredient used to craft the Automatic Sprinklers.

If you’re looking for an automatic sprinkler and don’t have the required levels or ingredients yet, you may be able to find one in the Marketplace or in other players’ stores.
