Problem with Pet

So when I'm in the profile window, it tells me I don't have a pet, even though I have a cat. It shows in the picture of the cat with my avatar in the avatar selection, but when I go into spaces that allow pets, it doesn't enter the space with me. When I go into the pet part of the "about" section, it shows my cat and I can take care of it.
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Tina, our records show that you have an active pet named Sadie. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the App?

The problem is fixed! I uninstalled and reinstalled twice and it finally worked! Thank you
