Cant delete extra avatars

I looked through the forums and didn't see any info ab this topic, but I can't seem to delete any extra characters on either of my accounts - the delete button is greyed out. Is there a time restriction from date of creation where you aren't allowed to delete the avatar, or is there another reason i can't delete these avatars?

I also have a couple other relevant questions:

ls it possible to delete the first avatar you created the account with and continue with a new avatar? And if you delete an avatar and make a new one with the same name, will the new avatar be dubbed 'The Second,' or does that only apply if the original avatar with name still exists as a playable character?

All of these questions are basically just me trying to figure out the logistics of sort of starting over with a new main avatar that has the same name as a character I plan to delete from my alt account. I just keep running into issues when i try to do this for some reason

Hi Lily,

When you create a new secondary avatar on your account, you’ll need to wait a full 5 days before you’re able to delete it. Once an avatar is deleted, the exact name it used can’t be created again in the future.

You also won’t be able to delete your default avatar unless you switch your default to another avatar on your account first. After changing your default, you’ll be able to delete the previous one.
