Hey guys, I've basically tried everything to get my NPC to summon on command, tried with gestures, items, words, everything. I need her to summon as soon as a person arrives in my space (mission related), any tips on how to do that? Thanks xx

Are you having an issue with the NPC not summoning at all for you or is someone reporting to you that they can’t visually see if the NPC is present in the space?
Some things to check;
Make sure the security is set to anyone. Only you and officers see the launchpad. Do not set it to owner only or else those playing your mission won’t be able to see the NPC.
Make sure that there is nothing obstructing the launchpad, movement of the NPC. Sometimes I have found that summoning or their movements can be less reliable if something is in their way.
Check the time delays to see if there is any other interaction that is conflicting with the summoning interaction; it helps to set a slight time delay than other interactions or enough time to build the space.
If using extra conditions such as artifacts, check if there is any conflicting interactions involving the required artifact in order for the NPC to summon.
If your NPC is set to auto mode, it may/may not be as reliable to carry out the programmed interactions you set on it. For a mission, if there are interactions involved, it might be best not to set them on auto mode if they aren’t just used to move throughout the space.
As far as the interaction itself to summon the NPC when one enters the space; set it to summon on proximity of i.e 100 m with a time delay of 2 seconds. (Just enough time to prevent other time delays conflicts and to start loading the space)Last edited by Aribella Lafonte; 2 weeks ago. -
Hey The Kae, I always add on the interactions > reactions menu > Proximity 1000, tick only once and put the action as summon - that's if you want it to summon as soon as the avatar enters. If you need it to appear on a specific command etc or need further help, message me in game and I'll come help
