Unable to send a friend invite

I have been trying to send an invite to a friend but this is the issue I am encountering every single time. Kindly have a look at this screenshot [IMAGE LINK REDACTED]

Qwerty, I'm afraid the invite friends via email feature is not yet operational. You can invite friends by copying and pasting the link to send to them manually. In addition, I redacted the image link as it contained an email address which is sensitive information - please be mindful of the information you share on the forums.

Same. But even when I copied the link and sent it to my friend, I did not receive a citizen point for it. She has already verified her email address and I got nothing for it.

This option didn't work for me either. She received the invite, registered, and verified her email but I did not gain a citizen point like it said.
