Halloween Event - Trick or Treat? Horror Hunt

This SmallVerse neighbourhood was once the perfect place to go trick or treating... But this year, your knocks go unanswered. Great prizes await those who dare to hunt for them... but what else could be lurking in the shadows?


Event details
We are excited to announce our upcoming live Halloween event on Tuesday 28th October 2025 at 6PM SVT.

In this event, you'll be challenged with exploring three different horror houses in the 'abandoned' neighbourhood. You'll hunt for three rare Halloween gift bags, with each providing part of a password that, when combined will allow access to The SmallVerse Vault. The player(s) within The SmallVerse Vault at the end of the event will share a large prize pot of gold and tokens. However, if only one player accesses the vault, they win it all. Further in-depth details and rules will be provided in the event launch space.

It may sound like a simple task, but don't be fooled - you'll want to avoid the jump scares... especially since you'll be hunting alone...


How to take part
Registration for this event will take place on Tuesday 28th October from 5:30PM SVT onwards in the event launch space.

A link to the space will be shared in this thread a few hours before the event. This will be an opportunity for you to socialise, register your participation, compare halloween costumes, chat with SmallVerse team members and learn all the event details, rules and the prizes on offer before the event starts. Once the clock strikes 6PM, players will enter the portal to start their horror hunt adventure.

Although you may still take part in the event without registering, without registration you will not receive the participation reward detailed below.


Prizes
The Vault Winner(s) will share a large sum of gold and tokens - with the prize pot being revealed shortly before the event begins.

All those who register and participate in the event will receive a participation reward of 1,000 Gold.


Abandoned Neighbourhood
Once the event has concluded, the space will be opened for all to explore until 05 November.

Post-event Announcement

Thank you to all those who participated in the Trick or Treat? Horror Hunt and well done to our 24 winners who managed to access the SmallVerse Vault in time! They have won 5,000 Gold and 20,000 Tokens each.

We hope you enjoyed this spooky Halloween event as much as we enjoyed creating it. An incredible 168 players took part!


Technical Issues
Many players experienced difficulties accessing the event space, and for that we apologise. This was understandably frustrating, especially since many of you had been waiting patiently for the event to launch. Once the issue was identified, our team immediately focused on trying to resolve the issue.

The event was extremely popular and although we had tried to plan ahead for many eventualities, this sudden influx caused loading issues for many participants. We have learned from these technical difficulties, we have noted the popularity of this event, and will consider how to prepare more effectively when planning our future events.


Participation Reward Increase
In recognition of these issues and to compensate those affected, the participation reward has been increased from 1,000 Gold to 2,500 Gold and 10,000 Tokens each.

These participation rewards will be issued to players who registered before the event started at 6PM SVT today, and will be added within the next 7 days. (As long as you were in the launch space before the event launched, you will be registered for this reward).


Abandoned Neighbourhood
Although the event has concluded, the space will remain open for those who want to challenge themselves to find the hidden gift bags... Or perhaps those who just want to experience the jump scares!
