Ability to turn off space lighting/theme in other spaces

Sometimes I visit spaces and they have the lighting too dark where it hurts my eyes, it'd be nice if there was a feature where we could disable space lighting on our end. Sure I can turn up my computer's brightness but that doesn't always work, and hurts my eyes more than necessary ; ^ ;
