Safe Trading Tips
To trade safely in SmallVerse, always make sure both parties clearly agree to the deal in chat before proceeding. This helps prevent any confusion or disputes.
All trades should be completed using the in-game Trading Terminals, which are designed to ensure both sides receive the agreed-upon items or currency at the same time.
Avoid dropping or gifting items when making trades, as these methods are not secure. For example, if someone promises to gift you an item after you list yours for sale, there’s a high chance they’ll buy your item and leave without holding up their end of the deal. Remember to always use the Trading Terminal for any trade that involves both parties exchanging items or currency. However, if a seller is simply selling one item for currency, it's acceptable for the seller to place the item on the ground and the buyer to purchase it directly with gold/tokens.
The trading terminals are for sale in the catalog or you can use the ones in the Trading Post for free!
If something feels off, don’t go through with the trade. It’s always better to be safe than sorry!
