Policy on Lotto, Lottery, Gambling, and Casino Spaces [Updated 04/15/2026]

Policy on Lotto, Lottery, Gambling, and Casino Spaces
    Effective Date: 10-17-2025

To maintain the integrity of the SmallVerse community and prevent abuse of the platform, all forms of lotto, lottery, gambling, and casino-style spaces are strictly prohibited.

    Prohibited Activities
The following activities are not allowed under any circumstance:
    • Spaces offering dice rolls, betting systems, or randomized gambling-style games.
    • Spaces designed to mimic casinos, slot machines, card games, or similar mechanics.
    • Any system or activity that involves players staking or wagering Gold, Tokens, or in-game items in exchange for the chance of a larger payout.

    Rationale
Casino-style spaces carry significant risks, including gambling losses, unfulfilled bets, and scams where players refuse to pay after losing and instead boot or ban others. To protect players from these harms, such activities are not permitted in SmallVerse.

These spaces have also been found to facilitate external trading and money laundering (i.e., selling in-game items for real-world money), which is a direct violation of the SmallVerse Terms of Service. Players often use casino-style spaces to disguise these trades by staging false “losses” or “wins,” with agreements frequently coordinated through third-party applications outside of the game. SmallVerse investigations include multiple different aspects to determine violations, and all of these make it clear when external trading is occurring. This activity undermines the fairness of the game economy and places the community at risk.

    Enforcement
    The following enforcement measures apply:
    • Any space discovered to contain gambling or casino-style activities will be locked immediately.
    • The space owner will receive disciplinary action, which may include warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on the severity of the violation.
    • Any Gold, Tokens, or items involved in these activities will be permanently removed from accounts.
    • Players found to be engaging in or benefiting from these activities may also face suspension or permanent bans.

    Disclaimer
SmallVerse will not permit, endorse, or intervene in any disputes, losses, or claims related to gambling or casino-style activities. Players should not expect protection or recovery of losses in these cases, as such spaces are not allowed.

    Recommended Alternatives

Players who want to host fun, interactive activities are encouraged to explore safe and creative uses of official SmallVerse tools and widgets. Examples include pool tables, board games, and other interactive elements designed to provide a fair and entertaining experience.

Please note: Player-run games such as Falling Chairs, Fridge Games, and Name Games are allowed. Hosts may include optional buy-ins for players to join an ongoing game or rejoin after being eliminated; however, participation must not require any entry fee.

Optional buy-ins must not exceed 300 Gold or 6,000 Tokens to ensure fairness, and all activities must remain within SmallVerse’s community guidelines.
